Health and Safety Policy for Zenith Performance and Recovery

At Zenith Performance and Recovery, we are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all clients and staff. This policy outlines the steps we take to ensure health and safety during our sports massage services. All practitioners are First Aid at Work trained, ensuring quick and effective response in case of emergencies.
1. Hygiene Practices:
- All equipment, including massage tables and tools, will be cleaned and disinfected between each client.
- Fresh towels and linens will be used for every session.
- Practitioners will wash their hands thoroughly before and after each treatment.
2. Equipment Maintenance:
- Massage tables and chairs will be inspected regularly for any signs of wear or damage.
- Oils, lotions, and other supplies will be stored properly and checked for expiry dates.
3. Emergency Procedures:
- A First Aid Kit will be readily available in the treatment room.
- In case of an emergency, clients will be assisted immediately, and emergency services will be contacted if necessary.
- All practitioners are First Aid at Work trained to ensure the safety and well-being of clients in emergencies.
4. Personal Health:
- Practitioners experiencing illness or injury will refrain from providing treatments to ensure the health and safety of clients.
5. Reporting:
- Any incidents or accidents that occur during a session will be documented, and appropriate actions will be taken to address them.
